The Gloucester Public School District was awarded the Commonwealth Preschool Partnership Initiative (CPPI) grant in the Spring of 2023. The grant was renewed in the Fall of 2023. Through this grant, the school district is partnering with Pathways for Children and The Cape Ann YMCA to better serve our youngest learners. We have done this thrugh the development of an itinerant special education team. The itinerant team consists of an early childhood teacher, a paraprofessional, a speech/language pathologist, an occupational therapist and a school adjustment counselor. Our team works with our early childhood partners to provide special education services to students in their parentally placed programs.
